Zombies drink blood - oh sorry, that was cranberry juice!

I borrowed some of the Cranberries' CDs from the library the other day. They're an interesting band, and the music is pretty soothing (for ME anyway, but I can tell ya that most people won't think so).
One of their songs, Zombie, is particularly good. Not just musically, but in the meaning behind the lyrics:

Another head hangs lowly,
Child is slowly taken.
And the violence caused such silence,
Who are we mistaken?

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

In your head, in your head,
Zombie, zombie, zombie,
What's in your head,
In your head,
Zombie, zombie, zombie?

Another mother's breakin'
Heart is taking over.
When the violence causes silence,
We must be mistaken.

It's the same old theme since nineteen-sixteen.
In your head, in your head they're still fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are dying...

In your head, in your head,
Zombie, zombie, zombie,
What's in your head,
In your head,
Zombie, zombie, zombie?

The lyrics refer to the wars between Ireland (the band is Irish XD) and England, cos Ireland was wanting to be independent but England wanted to be the rulers of the whole damn UNIVERSE as they have wanted to and tried to for ever and ever, but now they're too small to, so America's taken over.
Anyway, if you ARE interested (which I don't really expect anyone to be ... ) or just bored, here's the Wikipedia articles on the conflict:
Easter Rising
The Troubles (lol, what a name!)

That's it for now ... So if ya REALLY want more to read click on them Wikipedia articles!
